yes, @Enkers@sh.itjust.works has it correct, I’m referring to the linked userscript (not Sync).

Sync will probably work just fine for mobile, but i’m not 100% sure it is available. I think it’s just in development at the moment.

This script is good for desktop, but not great for mobile. If your primary interaction is on a mobile device, probably check the comments for (much) better alternatives.

Unfortunately, no - not at this time. Partly because I lack the skill to do it, and partly because it isn’t really a “theme” as such. It doesn’t change the colors or do some of the things a theme typically does. In truth, the script is actually (essentially) theme agnostic - I use it with darkly, but it works with all of the other Lemmy themes without issue (hopefully).

Yeah, I personally use violentmonkey, but its usershare is a lot less than grease or tamper. Fortunately, this script “should” work with any of them…

Hot is somewhat stale at the moment. This is apparently due to the spike in users voting and the subsequent decrease in active users. So posts that garnered a high number of votes are pushing down other, newer posts making those older top posts somewhat sticky.

The recommended trick is to, for now, sort by “New” or “Top Day.” Your mileage may vary, obv.

I ran across a script the other day that essentially functioned as an auto-subscribe. The use case was subscribing to a federated community just by visiting and it was super useful. I had it installed, then uninstalled it and now I can’t find it (sadface).

I lost this in the comment chain. I think this is a good idea. I think plugins would be good - the next item I want to tackle is an infinite scroll script… pagination is for the birds.

I wonder what the target member cap will be for here before the admins switch away from open signups. The process to signup here was blessedly easy, but i wonder if it can remain that way indefinitely

got it. For whatever reason GM doesn’t like the @grant statement. I’ve added the addStyles fucntion back in and it should work.
