I’ll let Marshmallow know that a stranger thinks her eyes are pretty!
That’s amazing, I’m belly laughing. For those scrolling through, the noodles are completely SFW.
And here is our new baby, a normal BCI we have named Cinnamon Toast:
Here is an old photo of our BEL ball python named Marshmallow:
Hi, it’s me, the nerd with the snakes.
I didn’t even realize your post was 3y old when I commented, it just showed up in my feed lol
Honestly? Anything I find interesting. Introvert problems.
I had the same issue after adding a Mastodon link to my bio. I used Jerboa to delete my bio, profile photo, and header photo, and then everything worked fine elsewhere. I’ve since reuploaded my photos and edited my bio without consequences. Your mileage may vary, but doing this fixed it for me.
What lol
I used to use Void as my main distro, but then the developer drama made me shy away from it (keep in mind, this was like forever ago and I haven’t looked at Void at all since). After that I floated around trying everything, from Gentoo to the BSDs (I know, not Linux). Nowadays I use OpenSUSE Tumbleweed. I got tired of doing everything manually and OpenSUSE just makes everything so much easier to use, IMO.
It absolutely is fascinating. I only happened to be looking at ginger root because my wife asked me to get some for her, and I was curious if it actually did anything beyond placebo.
I shouldn’t be surprised, and yet I am, when some biological/medical system isn’t fully understood. The human genome was sequenced years ago and yet we still don’t know why a simple plant root helps our tummies.
I had to look up “paracetamol” and learned that I know it by the name “acetaminophen.” Reading the wiki page on it revealed that by itself it only functions as a mild pain reliever, but when combined with caffeine or ibuprofen it becomes much more effective. What about combining all three? I’m not a pharmacist or a chemist though, so I won’t be trying it unless advised to.
