You seem to have a reading comprehension problem. An atheist is merely someone who has no religion like bald is someone who has no hair. Language often works by analogy. We describe groups like cults even whilst they aren’t in any way shape or form a religion nor a replacement for one.

Religion and politics are oft intertwined that doesn’t make them the same thing. In fact you might note that insofar as MAGA membership in a christian cult is highly correlated with being in a political cult.

People have passions about other things than Jeebus. They are often irrational and they tend to become attached to their pre-existing notions. These basic facts about humanity doesn’t make their other passions a proxy for religion.

In America its still not ok to be an atheist. Truly weird that it is ok to be part of several different mutually exclusive cults who all believe things that if they were not connected to a proper religion would get you laughed at but if you don’t have a cult its not ok.

The level of violence was fantastically high like worse than a war torn country all the time for everyone. Along with all the starvation and disease which nobody could do anything about because even washing hands or what a disease is is completely unknown.
Starving by age 5, getting your head bashed in by 20 or a really ugly disease death before 30. Also you spent all your time struggling to have enough to eat continually.

Online communities don’t have to have the same demographics as physical locations. Why does it seem weird to you that either gender would want to vent about the opposite one without reading 100 replies by the group being vented about.
Actually in most of western europe its half think he’s their enemy 40 some percent think he gives zero fucks either way and only 7-9% think he’s on their side.
