Solid suggestion. Lentils are tasty, cheap, nutritional and very easy to work with.
Carrot and lentil with a little curry powder. Serve with garlic bread or naan

China is a unitary communist state led by the CCP that self-designates as a socialist state.
All I’ve said is that in my personal experience visiting China this socialist state feels more capitalist than many other countries due to the insane amount of consumerism and mass consumption.
This is due to reform and opening up in 1978 and a burgeoning middle class with significant purchasing power.
I’m not belittling China with these facts, I’m merely observing what has happened.

😂 How sad. Anyway

Who mentioned communism?

Funny, everyone perceives China to be some socialist giant. I just spent a week there and it’s more capitalist and consumer centric than anything I’ve ever seen. Certainly more than Singapore, USA, UK. All the brands x all the shopping. It’s not a tourist spot, it’s a shopping experience.

A famous Anthony Bourdain quote about Japan states: “If I had to eat only in one city for the rest of my life, Tokyo would be it. Most chefs I know would agree with me”. He also famously described his first experience in Tokyo as being like “taking LSD for the first time,” a transformative experience that changed his perspective on the world.
I agree, for me it would be Japanese food, it’s so diverse and so refined.

Isn’t that the point though? The book enshittifies
Or am I missing the ironic tone?

Making rice for nigiri is quite a skill! Congratulations. 🍣
Where did you get the eyelid surgery done. I’ve heard Korea is one of the best places for this kind of surgery. Thank you.
Omg I made this once, it was sooo good. Love that lemon chicken flavor
