Modlog says: Rule 2 - use !askandroid for technical support please
It’s still being developed:
Maybe Lemmy should start adding NoAI meta tags to posts and comments like some other websites have started doing for images? Though I doubt it helps that much.
Avast is virus itself
It has 374 thumb ups here:

And was suggested here multiple times:

They really should add the option to set custom one, especially on Android all of the currently available ones look so bad.
about:firefoxview#syncedtabs
takes you there if you have a way to set it as new tab.
It doesn’t let you set custom one at the moment, only those that you can see in the picture.
A setting option to have media auto expand only after opening the post would be nice, the currently available option in the settings does it everywhere.
I don’t like that huge button either… If they want to have button for it in the homepage they should change it to be a small cogwheel icon next to the private mode icon or something.

You might be able to use it for this instance as well at some point: https://sh.itjust.works/comment/7625073
Forum users tend to prefer long-lasting discussions, which is not the case on Lemmy/Reddit, where threads are forgotten after a few days.
If you want to be able to add custom engines directly from the settings, in about:config
add browser.urlbar.update2.engineAliasRefresh
and set the value to true
, after that you should see Add button in about:preferences#search
Edit: nvm, there doesn’t seem to be field for suggestions…
Edit2: There’s also https://mycroftproject.com/, where you can try to find the search engine you want.
Settings > Search > Show voice search
I’ll consider an iPhone when they get rid of the giant notch and allow sideloading and more browser engines.
I have no idea, I’m not a mod here and I don’t remember seeing that thread.
