  • I got a friend in the Bureau of Workers Compensation in Ohio, and this might be anecdotal, but they’ve mentioned several times how businesses in Springfield that couldn’t find good work absolutely welcomed and embraced the Haitian population and how it has turned around several smaller businesses that he works with.

One business owner specifically talked about how he couldn’t keep anyone, and how he had to fire a few people that would come in fucked up on pain killers or drunk because it became too much of a problem and fucked with his insurance rates after a particular incident. My BWC friend mentioned how the Haitian population came in to the area and hiring some of them might work out well, so he did it. He says it’s been fantastic. They didn’t have any of that baggage, worked hard and showed up on time every day. He has to have an interpreter but he said it was absolutely worth it just to not have to deal with the turnover and no-shows.

  • Trump told people they were struggling and only he could fix it.

Kamala told people the economy was rebounding and they were gonna create more opportunities for the middle class.

People didn’t give a shit about what opportunities they were given. They also didn’t give a shit about a rebounding economy because none of them were feeling things getting better. Media kept saying real wages beat inflation finally. Only after 3 years of insane inflation where wages in no way kept up.

So sure, the economy is better than it was, and better than the rest of the world. But the shock happened and nothing was done to actually help the people that were suffering. Instead they were told by Democrats that ‘it could have been worse! And it will be worse under Trump’ basically admitting they weren’t really interested in helping.

So Trump, despite him not actually caring or really planning to do anything about it, stayed on message with something that resonated to voters. While Kamala assumed people wanted to start businesses? People can’t afford food but sure, let’s talk about how they have some opportunity to open a mom and pop shop across from Walmart.

  • The headline makes it sound like the influencer took the money and posted the video.

Edit: that’s because he did. His was the account that posted the fake ‘Hatian’s voting illegally in Georgia’ video.

“I don’t have any idea where it came from or anything - I’m just the guy who shared it,” he said.

Well, isn’t that the fuckin problem?

AlphaFox said the staged Georgia video wasn’t the first time he was paid to post content on his X account. On roughly 10 other occasions, Boikov paid him $100 to post memes and videos on the account, he said.

“It started with memes, and it seemed innocent,” he told CNN.

When Boikov’s requests then shifted to posting election-related videos, like the fake Georgia voter fraud footage, “I didn’t think anything of it,” he said.

He insisted to CNN he did not know Boikov worked for Russian state media.

A useful idiot, accepting peanuts and unknowingly weakening our democracy. Anyone from any side of the political spectrum should be cautious of anyone offering money to push a meme.

  • I initially agreed with that first post, but you make a lot of sense. If Republicans have nowhere to go after Trump loses, they’re going to continue to be radicalized by more extremists in their party. We need to extend some sort of fig leaf, but it has to come with conditions. Like admitting that Trump lost the 2020 election, that would be a good start. And admitting that January 6th was a coup. If we just allow them to come back like nothing happened, they’ll just do this shit again next election.
