Great idea. I should get on that! There will definitely be more unfortunately

No. No we don’t. This is just a feel good thing for people who want to give the perception of caring.
I may need a tinfoil hat, but needing a biometric token to sign in is an excellent way of tracking your online activities. Once that token is linked to a device. They’re going to know everything about your online habits. Not just whatever website the token works for.
Link appears to not work. At least for me

I knew things were grim, but that’s worse than I thought!

I assume people asking legal advice but not specifying where they are?

Maybe wrong, but I believe this is from a language learning sub on reddit where people would ask what language they should learn without any other qualifiers. It was asked so frequently that people just started replying Uzbekistani.
Again, that’s my memory of it, could be wrong.
We got an ex national MP for our mayor. So excited…
Now we’re getting double austerity, local and national level

MapswithNZ? Wtf?

Honestly, fuck this government and their privatisation bullshit that only benefits the rich and not the tax payers

Thanks, that is amazing and has improved my morning significantly!

The real problem here is defining Christian views. There has never been one view of Christianity. Even when Paul was around.
So no one can say all Christians are x. Or they’re not true Christians because x.
But you can say a large percentage of Christian America aligns itself with the republican party. So make of that what you will.

I get click bait headings, but that wasn’t even close
Wednesday here, no rapture. Surprise surprise.

Not sure what side of the fence you’re on, but Genetically Modified Skeptic put out a video recently about this concerning the religious right.
He basically said no matter how good the argument for insert point, very few people are going to take the matter into consideration and it just ends up being a huge money making initiative.
Looking through who’s running in my local, half of them have promises to cut rates with no plans on how to achieve that and keep services running. Some of the candidates are good to great, but not nearly enough of them and the rest are cleary whack jobs. Despair!
The same else where?

Sorry, you’re completely right. I went back and reread the article and I had misunderstood. This is a bit much and I agree with your take.
Thanks for the correction

OK sure it’s a big raise. But from what I gather they are doing (could be completely misunderstanding the job or the article hasn’t clearly defined well enough for me) but I’d think that was inline with other sectors with that kind of responsibility. Maybe I’m completely deluded 🤷

Tbh, the pay rise is reasonable. But the rhetoric from government is never the same. It’s just what they want it to be.
There’s no money for public services. Except this one time. And this other time. Oh and for our mates
Nothing I didn’t really know in the article, thanks for posting though. I know Naomi Campbell pushes Brave pretty hard. Any thoughts on that?
