I tried it, had to VPN in to do so but I tried it. I gave it 5 tasks, it succeeded in 2 of them, rest were hallucinations. so…yeah…guess it’s much better than Opus.

don’t. Eclipse is slow to start, it’s heavy, and the interface is garbage. Honestly just go with Notepad++ or Sublime Text or even Zed.
Trust me I’ve been a web dev for 25 years, you don’t need all the bells and whistles right now. you literally just need a notepad and a terminal.

just waiting for some zionist/Isreal sympathizer to say that the US trying to end the war with Iran is “anti-semitic” or something. tired of that word, it’s lost all meaning.
so the US is Israels bitch while the rest of us wait in line. I’m tired of it. if there’s one country that needs a smack in the mouth it’s Israel.

wait WSL Terminal? so you’re using the Windows Subsystem for Linux?
I think you’re making this harder on yourself than you need to. It’s like you’re trying to use a saw to cut a piece of wood before knowing what wood even is.
I’ll be honest with you, don’t use VS code, you’re not ready for it. All you need right now is quite literally a regular windows terminal and a basic IDE. notepad++ or sublime text. ONCE you’ve learned the basics you can go back to VS Code, that VS Code terminal is gonna mess you up.
A. make sure you have git installed just open your windows terminal and do winget install Git.Git
B. again in the regular terminal navigate to your repo you’ve created.
C. open notepad++ or sublime text or whatever basic IDE you picked and create a README.md and save in your repos directory.
D. back in your terminal do git add . make sure you have a space between add and .
E. then do git commit -m "initial README.md commit"
F. finally do git push and you’re done. you can then check it with git status and it’ll show there’s nothing to commit, everythings up to date.
I think the tools were messing you up. I don’t recommend VS Code for beginners, it messes them up. keep it simple for now.

so all it’s saying is open README.md and add something to it then save. Are you getting hung up with “use code .” as the example?
literally all you have to do is open the readme, add something to it like “hello world” or whatever, save it, do git add . then git commit -m “edited README.md” or something. git push. done.
IF you haven’t made a README.md yet then in your terminal just do “touch README.md” within your repo, then using whatever editor you use open it and do the above.
welp those sons of bitches did it. Oxygen and Air back, FINALLY virtual desktops per monitor, AND global push to talk.
I can finally now make Plasma my daily driver. this makes me happy.
yup. Windows 10 made me switch to Linux. About twice a year, always a couple times a year, for whatever reason Windows 10 would essentially kill my wifi card on my laptop. reinstalling drivers didn’t work, physically unplugging the card from the mobo and plugging it back in didn’t work. nothing worked. the ONLY thing that would work? reinstalling the entire OS. I had to do this twice a year. they’d release some update and just nuke the wifi card.
So finally I decided to give Linux a go cause I had enough. been using Linux ever since. and the thing with Linux is that it made me fall back in love with using the computer again. with tinkering and customizing and everything. made me fall back in love with my development work because of the sheer ease of doing dev stuff on linux especially with NixOS. playing around with various configs and modules and what have you is fun. maintaining random packages is fun. hell even just maintaining my nixos git repo is fun. It’s a blast.
bu-but so many libraries need funding!

“When someone tells you who they are, believe them.”
Why do you think they’re so obsessed with who can use which restroom, obsessed with who may or may not be a man or woman, make posts about getting married or engaged during pride month, etc, etc, etc it’s because they’re all collectively jealous of the LGBTQ+ community and in many cases are closeted homosexuals/transgender. Which is an insult to the LGBTQ+ community and does them a disservice. They want that life so desperately but are terrified that everyone in their circle will ridicule them for it meanwhile those in said circle also want the same thing.

as an alcoholic myself (10 years sober) if you can have a few drinks once and awhile and it doesn’t affect your life in any way whats so ever then power to you. If it’s fun for you every now again but not on the regular, then again, power to you.
For people like me we can’t do that. we don’t know where the stop button is and in many cases don’t care to find it. for otherx saying “drinking is bad full stop it has health issues even if you have one drink every month” oh let the baby have their bottles and ignore them. if you can drink and it’s not destroying anything and you can still function then have at it.
“Misery loves company”
When you see stuff like this, people just randomly hating on something that just seems so out there it’s usually because they’re insanely depressed and/or their life is in shambles. So the guy is in a miserable state and lashes out in hopes he can somehow make others lives equally as miserable so then he finally, in a way, won’t feel “alone”.

honestly as someone who contracts for a lot of tech companies, anyone with the slightest ounce of common sense could be a better CEO than the majority of them. Most are either rich kids that drank the linkedin tech bro kool-aid, former low-level devs that have never had a real interaction with anyone in their lives and just had a good idea/ripped one off one day, or con-men. that’s it. If you get into technical details with any of them their eyes gloss over and then they try and throw down big “tech words” in order to come off as knowledgeable in the subject or hell how their company is even run.
All that being said there’s one thing they are good at, convincing people to give them money. If you can convince people to give you money AND you actually know what you’re talking about with a bit of common sense you’d be a better CEO than the vast majority of tech ceos.

so she knew the store policy, decided to ignore it, has known this person has taken food in the past but doesn’t call the police and have them trespass, and for some reason thinks she owes the company what? something? to tackle a person taking food?
no sympathy here. who cares if someone takes food? does anyone who work retail honestly get paid enough to care? and if you do care then there’s something painfully wrong with you. I worked retail some 20+ years ago and even then I didn’t give a flying fuck if someone took something from where ever I was working. I wasn’t be paid enough to care I barely made more than minimum wage. the only people who cared were managers and LP cause they were paid enough to care.

OR Parliament Hill could oh I don’t know finally grow some balls and tell Galen and his cronies it’s time to dissolve their monopoly or the government will do it for them. when 75% of the industry is held by 5 grocers that’s a damn problem. add to the fact they’re all in cahoots with each other when it comes to pricing and then it feels like it’s 1 grocer that calls the shots for everyone else and it’s not hard to imagine WHICH grocer it is.
People in this country should not have to be super rich in order to eat and feed their families. there’s a damn good reason why lines for food banks across the country continue to grow on a weekly basis. There’s a damn good reason why I now see people with children and families lining up for food on thursday mornings for breakfast that was originally intended to feed the homeless.
If I see someone stealing food from a loblaws, metro, longos, whatever then no the fuck I didn’t. Because I’m also helping myself.

oh no my version of Claude won’t hallucinate as quickly as the Americans version…
seriously though Antrhopic probably asked for this.

yup. supposedly next month or august.

still pretty low considering we’ve spent hundreds of millions more on 6 world cup matches.

I think it was essentially orphaned stuff that got “picked up” by a “new maintainer” and that’s how it happened.

yeah when I was using Arch I was also an AUR junky. if this was happening back then I know I would have 100% been screwed.
sorry should have been more specific. it was a mix of coding and non-coding. 1 coding task ran fine, another one just didn’t work at all. one was a basic walk through tutorial type task that was accurate, the others were hallucinations.
