@PriorProject @dartanjinn This is why OS containers make more sense to me. #LXC is all I use.
Technology-loving dork. I spend far too much time working on my homelab considering I work in IT as well. I play too much Dota2, watch too many cartoons, and don’t play enough basketball.

@Dirk @MonkCanatella yeah… It’s a fetish. Not a weird thing to say at all.
@borlax @stardustsystem I wish this were true. At work we need Windows servers for security system management, school management, and a few other things.
@dpflug @redcalcium @zephyr it is reserved for mDNS.
@Moonrise2473 They are required by law to honour it. GDPR is a good thing. It should be enacted worldwide.
@Moonrise2473 @G0FuckThyself that cookie thing isn’t bad.
@GlitzyArmrest Including for origins? If not, the point of CloudFlare is gone.
@SexualPolytope yeah. It’s rare that nftables isn’t the default anymore.
@eskuero @SexualPolytope do you have the nftables version?
@Hopfgeist Speed on large spinning disks. Faster rebuilds. Less chance of complete failure because or URE.
@Hopfgeist @sam I prefer RAID10 on rust.
@Saigonauticon @Atemu A scanner is a camera. Why complicate things?
@poVoq I only in the last year or so set-up an SMTP server for outbound only. DKIM, SPF and DMARC configured. I never have issues sending email anywhere.
@deeply_moving_queef why is SSO paywalled?
@SmashingSquid @cichy1173 I tried the route of docker in lxc but prefer to not have my containers in containers. It can be annoying at times because of how forceful some #opensource projects are about docker use.
@PriorProject it’s definitely more work but it’s not that much. I need to set up some more automation but currently I can keep it updated with a few scripts.
