Chris bowes is a racist sex-offender though…
Which also means, that a lot of the machines developed to kill humans and the computation to direct said machines is made by humans themselfes. Hell, the Matrix itself could be just a product of human “brain-calculations”, which is also a nice metaphor for the world. We basically enslave ourselves and barely anyone notices or cares, because we are all caught in the system.

4·6 months agoPor que no los dos? In the case of germany, 60% of agricultural Land is used for feeding live stock. 10% is used for “energy plants” - With a yield ~50 times lower than an equivalent pv-area. You’d need 5% of all of the agriculturally used Land to be fitted with solar panels to fulfill the electrical energy demand of germany. It’s frankly just stupid that we don’t try to go for that.
Don’t know the numbers for austria, but i assume they are simmilar.

Well, maybe a matter of taste. In your Version the “double-realization” is less rewarding imo though, as you allready give the musical aspect away instead of letting people guess what an “A” does in a church in the first place.

Technology@lemmy.world•Scientists make game-changing breakthrough that could slash costs of solar panels: 'Has the potential to contribute to the energy transition'English
11·1 year agoRoughly 50% of germany is used as farmland. On 60% of the farmland crops to feed livestock are grown. On 20% of it crops for energyproduction (biofuel, biogas). If you take for example rapeseeds, used for biodiesel, you would harvest around 50 times as much energy with a pv-plant on the same area. You would need to install pv on 5-6% of the farmland to produce enough electric energy for all of germany for a year. Granted you also can provide the grid for it and enoguh storage.

Where did you get the 30%-Figure from?! HVAC-transmission at “only” 380 KV is at about 1% loss, HVDC is even lower than that.
H2 needs to be produced with electrolyses, you lose 30% of your energy with that alone.
