Trying to catch a baby duck is like trying to hold water, or happiness, in your hands. They seem to be Schrodingers ducks for how rapidly and unexpectedly they move.
And an adult duck? They sometimes pet you back! I kept ducks for a while and one would regularly preen my fingers as though they were feathers.

What if my USPS packages keep disappearing, asupposedly reputable sender. I don’t know if they are making it to my mailbox, or if they’re stolen after making it to my mailbox.

Agreed. It always makes me think of Nascar, lol. But the other half represents a pro-Confederate family, and I’d love to hear someone explain how the city of Baltimore has continued to accept that. “Bigger fish to fry” and “not wanting to alienate racists” is all I can come up with.
I grew up 2 blocks from a train station that would start running routes every 10 min starting at 5:30 or so. Oh boy I can’t believe I slept through it as a kid, I wouldn’t be able to now without re-acclimating.

My city has had good turnout for a few protests in the last few months, but yesterday was the first time we took to the streets and caused a few traffic jams. I know it isn’t much, but it is an escalation. It was like scratching an itch, and I’m ready for whatever’s next.
I guess I should also first ask how many Democrats are on a similar list…
Also realize that there are different places you might feel comfortable driving. For example, I try to avoid driving through large towns and cities as much as I can. I’d rather someone else drive. There’s just too much going on while watching for cars, traffic cues, as well as pedestrians.
On the flip side, my brother hit another car on his very first driving lesson and never drove again! He’s happily living in a city with public transportation :-) just make sure you’re able to get around without relying on others.
If I were to make a protest poster with this information, what pithy statement would be the best combination of true and impactful? I was thinking, “Protect children and women?! 1410 identified Republican sexual predators!”
Could the language get more specific but stay true? These aren’t all convicted offenses, right? They also weren’t so government officials, some just identify as Republican?

I think my best advice is just to talk about it. Bring up that you want to play more video games, but it’s hard because you want to spend time with your partner, too. I’m sure my feelings were hurt at first, but I realized it wasn’t about me. Make it about you and not about them. Do you have your own space in the house? That is also really helpful.
No kids here. Last night as we were falling asleep my partner said, “I really need to play Counter Strike tomorrow.” I fully respect that.
I heard Ireland does too, but they also use Rank Voice Voting so it takes them about a week. Seems like a potential benefit that the process of democracy is so visible, imo.
