Pew Pew boom boom.
Pew Pew boom boom.
Isn’t this kind of shit that you guys have the 2nd amendment for?
Third paragraph of my previous comment:
Being mad at Muslims and Stein voters and non-voters is going to be a barrier to building a coalition of resistance. That’s just the plain reality of what strategic organizing will require. Don’t burn bridges with the people you will need in the next 4 years.
So… pre-election Democrats were not being the better people??? I really don’t get this.
I am convinced that Project 2025 is coming to your country and that trumpism is the most dangerous modern day neo-fascist strain. I actually believe the pre-election Democrats. You don’t appease fascism, you don’t give it good faith, you resist it, you fight it, you crush it.
This about-face of the post-election Democrats is insane and it feeds directly into the “boy who cried wolf” narrative that the Right is pushing. Not to mention they are normalizing trumpism.
The only thing I said was don’t punch left. I literally said none of the other things you are ranting about, so go bark at someone else.
I didn’t vote for Harris, because… I’m not a US citizen. I would have if I were, if you need to know. I’m sitting here on my side of the border, seeing fascism take over on your side and I’m shocked to see you guys bicker about pointing fingers instead of facing reality and thinking wtf you have to do to survive the next 4 years. It’s as if you don’t really understand what’s about to hit you.
You’re in deep crisis mode. Being mad at Muslims and Stein voters and non-voters is going to be a barrier to building a coalition of resistance. That’s just the plain reality of what strategic organizing will require. Don’t burn bridges with the people you will need in the next 4 years. You hit the iceberg, now is not the time to point fingers about whose fault that it is, it’s time to get to the boats and every one who can help with that is valuable.
3 days ago, it was going to be the last election, the ultimate election, the end times, the end of democracy. Now we’ll be fine?
Pre-election Dems and post-election Dems cannot both be right. One of the two is lying.
Keep punching left and down. That will really help build the coalition to resist fascism.
this election was lost by single issue voters not showing up
You mean, the candidate didn’t do her fucking job pandering to the electorate? You mean the democratic machine didn’t take their own rhetoric about democracy being threatened seriously enough to make sure to pander to every corner of the electorate to build the broadest possible coalition? You mean that the shitty electioneering consultants fucked up so much that they created a void for Donald Fucking Trump to show up to Michigan and get imams to endorse him as the “peace candidate”?
If you want to blame voters for electing Trump, blame the fucking white trumpist majority. Not the minorities that the Democrats didn’t deign to try to woo and win their vote.
I’m tired of the “fooled innocent Americans” trope. Fuck that. They knew exactly what they did. Face the reality: half of Americans are now trumpists. FACE IT.
That’s a bad headline. Watch his video, he makes a much more nuanced argument.
I thought your laws for example had standards about news vs entertainment, which is why the idiots at Fox keep getting away with misinformation.
There should be a law for owners of media being kept at arm’s length.
That’s why Mitbestimmungsgesetz can be goddamn fucking awesome.
What’s his beef with The Onion? Why is he trying to run them out of business?
So Harris should pander better. Otherwise she’s clearly not taking the seriousness of a Trump win seriously enough. Pander better.
I don’t understand why it is taken for granted that if Stein wasn’t a candidate the people who vote for her would be voting for the Democrats instead. Just as likely they would not vote at all or vote for some other protest candidate.
If only there were international organizations that could enforce standards. Like the WTO for example.
It’s so funny how all this is only a problem within a capitalist frame of reference.
