Two weeks ago I installed dual boot EndeavourOS and OpenMandriva on my potato Mini PC (Celeron 1007U, 8GB RAM, 500 GB HDD), but I haven’t gotten around to fiddling with it yet. 🙄

This is just some of BS public stunts, they are trying to hide and create misinformation to deceive people. The mastermind of the online gambling issue here, is one of their cronies. A businessman, this guy being protected by top military brass and former general including a new elected president.
My guess? This is just PR from their politicians to say “they are saving the country” or whatever bullshit without actually doing anything useful

I’m curious, can we have something like automation in LibreOffice? I mean like in VBA, where I can pull data and export excel charts.
It’s been a month since I started journey with Linux Mint as my daily driver. I enjoy tinkering with things like PulseEffects (trying to create similar sound effects as in Windows). Also tried to customize Conky, but I think I need to learn Lua.
I also found out that my setup without a swap file / partition. I guess it because I use btrfs for the root partition, so the Mint installer replaced swap with some tmpfs folders. I only realized after I got stuck in OOM. 😂😂
Just like me, I also grew up with Windows XP and still playing Master of Orion on Linux today.

5·1 year agoMander is not the only instance having this issue. Other instances like lemmy.nz (it was), reddthat also aussie.zone, monyet.cc have similar issue since months ago. I assume the culprit is cogent’s de-peering drama not from lemmy itself.

I’m not sure what I’m going to do with it. Perhaps I will use it as network storage. it has an external SATA port, so I can add another storage.
At first I just wanted to learn arch-based Linux. But I found it easier to learn OMV, as it has a similar learning curve to Debian and Ubuntu-based distros.
