Since FreeTube is not available for Android, how do you use it on phone?

I don’t use web browser on phone for content, although I use Free Browser for being pure open source withoit deoendancies, but I only use computer for websites.

I would describe it as software that is not 100% open source, and/or connects to services that run is not purely open source software connecting through standard protcols. It can’t have a proprietary connection.

Basically, if both the software and the service do not run reprodible builds of the software, it is an anti-feature. For example, Proton, Telegram and NewPipe are open source apps, but the source code for their servers is not published so it’s a proprietary connection or servers run proprietary software, so those apps have anti-features.

It’s too bad that it’s not available without anti-features in F-Droid. I disable all anti-features in Settings so intially I thought OrganicMaps is not in F-Droid until I checked the website.

I will add on top of all the other recommendations, in F-Droid settings, turn off all anti-features. If after doing that, an app you are looking for is not available, check what anti-feature it has for why it’s not listed.

Have you considered the possibility his whole YouTube gig was always a scam? Look at how 1995 his website is. Has ever done a video teaching how to do anything technical so viewers can do something themself? He’s a talker. There’s no evidence of having IT skills.

His audience is the uninformed, don’t know any better. All he does is talk. People are better search videos and watching a random person showcase how the work is done for people to follow along and teach through examples. Rob doesn’t show anything, only talks about it.

For all viewers know, all of his videos might be his opinions based of what others say, but give him a terminal or a shell and a keyboard, he might not know how to do anything.

The whole Simple apps suite should be removed because they are never going to get another update again in the F-Droid repository.

All social media has a heavy censorship with people getting deleted for saying the wrong views or hurt feelings, it’s only a question of how much you will self sencor before being banned.

Accounts being banned have nothing to do with behaviour, look at the list of subjects and lifestyles a user is not allowed to criticize.
