“Mormon therapist” is a red flag for sure. And uh, mixed orientation marriages? uh…
Also zeppo@sh.itjust.works. Not a lot of Zeppos out here.

No matter what happens, they have to invent some stupid shit. Would be nice if these deranged people got an education and something better to do with their collective time. it’s also like playing poker with some coked up asshole who accuses you of cheating even when you lose.
Pretty cool other than the part that sorta looks like teeth.
Republicans were gigantic pieces of shit long before Trump.

Lotion is particularly weird. Not sure what they put in it, but just smelling it makes my lips numb for a few minutes.
yes! YES!
I have serious issues with fragrances. Artificial fragrances in particular (i.e. most ones) but even essential oils get to me after a while. When I’m around cologne, air freshener, deodorant, shampoo/conditioner fumes, I can taste it for quite a while. It’s completely vile. Extended exposure makes my eyes red, my lips swell a bit, and just a little makes me start oddly salivating. I guess it’s some sort of allergy, maybe MCAS, but this sort of thing is very difficult to get diagnosed. Some doctors have acted like I have some sort of uh… misphonia but for smells, but no, I can detect scents quite accurately. One reason I may be sensitive is I’m not completely swamped in 10 different fragrances 24/7 like most people.
The only thing that really works is to wash my nose out with water. Not super sanitary, but it’s better than salivating and tasting perfume for an hour. I have found that taking antihistamines reduces my sensitivity… I can still detect the fragrances, but get less of a reaction. That’s a clue. Oh, and also I have 3 different autoimmune disorders… I’ve asked around and the only people I’ve gotten a “yes, that happens to me too” response from are people with MS.
They’re perforated to half the size that paper towels typically used to be. It’s common now but wasn’t in the past.
Give each county one vote regardless of population? Classic anti-democracy Republican bullshit.
That’s not great, but the way elections are set up makes a 3rd party vote worse than useless. Better than not voting, but it doesn’t accomplish much.
primary centralist losers and try to turn the Ds left.
I appreciate that but it has to be a useful and rational plan that might actually work.
It is though. There have been 3rd party conservative spoilers too… it’s just that typically, it’s a Republican plot to fuck over Democrats.
It’s not worth doing that if it puts Republicans in charge, especially now when they’re basically planning on installing a dictator.
That’s great that you know about concepts like Sunk Cost Fallacy, but not so great that you apply it to something which has absolutely nothing to do with that. Ok, see you in a Republican concentration camp soon! Nice work! You really stamped out GENERCIDE, good job. It was all Joe Biden all along.
If EVERYONE who would otherwise vote D voted for them, yes. That’s not going to happen, hence the scenario I gave which you quoted. Split the non-conservative vote between two parties, and the conservatives win - how is that going to help?
Voting in primaries for people who support it would help. In general elections, how will that help since they can’t get elected?
That doesn’t mean it works well in those countries. Plus, there are other differences to how their governments are structured.
The only way that could possibly effective is if it was paired with comprehensive voting reform in every state (well, every state that matters).
A third party cannot win with the current first-past-the-post system. It’s so obvious that I can’t imagine why it would need to be explained. Have a good leftist candidate, it’ll take votes from the liberal. Popular conservative alt candidate, will take votes from the Republican. With our current roughly 50/50 balance, either one could result in the candidate with less support for their ideology winning. That’s how you end up with something like (theoretically) 25% Stein, 35% Biden, 40% Trump, and Trump wins because he had the plurality. Great.
Pretty sure I was able to rearrange icons on my IPod Touch 4 in 2010.
