I wish I had more info but I’m not sure what the issue was!

It seems our instance started getting hit hard about 5am, then we were at 100% CPU for the last 30 mins:

In case you’re thinking well of course an NZ site has many more hits in daylight hours, here’s the week: screen shot of cloudflare dashboard showing a daily 20,000 hits going to 600,000 today

I’m guessing AI scrapers?
