I’m not even vegetarian/vegan and we’ve switched to using tofu in place of cut-up chicken in a bunch of recipes. Not including environmental/ethical reasons:
- it’s cheaper
- lasts longer in the fridge without having to worry if its gone bad
- no salmonella worries
- no worries about possible woody breast (silly name, I know)
It’s also healthier for you if you eat less meat in favor of vegetables.
That little girl understands me.
