Interesting that Mr. Stoll left out the part about how that nonviolent protest involved the men disguising themselves as indigenous people. Can’t imagine why they did that.

I stopped reading in the third paragraph when the article’s author took an unnecessary swipe at teachers.

Edit: So I went back and read the whole thing and what a pile of crap. The author claims that the entire thing was a Christian event because they met at the church and the one person that was quoted, Sam Adams, was a Christian. Could the church also have been the biggest building for all of them to meet? I don’t know just asking. It also talks about how great it was because it wasn’t violent, they just destroyed property. I wonder what tune the author was singing during protests in 2020? Protests in 2020 happens after government law enforcement killed a man (Boston Massacre anyone?) Its almost as if there’s a lot of nuance to these situations and making yourself feel better with a 5 minute article doesn’t fully explain the historical situation or it’s context. Maybe let those teachers and historians take care of it since this author is clearly out of their element.
