Feeling the need to get out of town for a bit and disconnect - wondering if anyone has some good suggestions (preferably not too far out of Chch/Canterbury) to go and explore for a few days in winter? I’ve got a 4WD so getting off road isn’t a problem. Some of my favourites are the likes of Peel Forest or Castle Hill - any good hidden places anyone is keen to share? 😉
