Once when I was a kid my mom let me get a hair cut unsupervised. I said I loved it, it was great, and paid with the $15 she gave me. I found my mom in a store and we went home.

The next day she went back and demanded a refund because it was a shit haircut. I still have no idea why. She paid someone else to fix it. I will never understand what they even did.
