This is just a simple aggregation based on rank, such that the lowest score wins.
Edit: There is no difference in score between Norway and Denmark, I tried to number both as 1 but can’t figure out the correct markdown. Finland and Sweden also shares the same aggregate score. And Australia refuses to get in line.
Canadian here and surprised / not surprised by the ranking
I’m indigenous Canadian who grew up in a semi remote community … My family didn’t have running water or indoor plumbing until 1989! In Canada! A supposed first world country.
Nice idea, I think a webpage collecting this information to create a top 50 would be really interesting. One question: Where did you find your used ranking of the World Hapiness Report, I found this page but this seems different, eg. Israel is on the 4th place.
