Ah yes the left authoritarian meme community that loves left authoritarian propaganda criticises me for calling them left authoritarian controlled. The cunning truth however is that they repeat left authoritarian propaganda freely and without payment. They are therefore no bots but something different entirely.

PS: Just ban me already knowing that you again convinced nobody.

Off the top of my head?

      1. USA and Europe are the authoritarian masters of a internationalist capitalist empire that are bad actors and the actual “axis of evil”
      2. NATO is part of a global order that promotes and projects western imperial military interests and exists to reinforce US/EU weapons manufacturer sales and use.
      3. Hamas are heroes.
      4. Hezbollah are heroes.
      5. China would be a better steward of a global economic order than the US/EU capitalist empires of the past 500 years and we do not believe the Chinese have the same imperial ambitions.
      6. The USA is not a democracy, it is an oligarchy with a fixed political structure that has nothing to do with what the people there want or vote for.
      7. White people in the USA are settler petite bourgeois and not part of the global proletariat. They are not allies, they are enemies.
      8. There is no difference between a white American and an Israeli
      9. Donald Trump isn’t an aberration of US politics and is par for the course. He is not a foreign asset or brought to power by Russia and is in fact the most American thing ever.
      10. It was in fact the US who over threw the Russian government and installed a president there. Putin and the Russian capitalist oligarchs are mercenaries who typically work for the US but have fallen from favor and are being attacked now to balkanize the region for profit.

The US conducted the cold war to force the SU into a spending spiral that collapsed their economy. They then spent billions of dollars to install Yeltsin into power. Putin came up through the FSB and and the connections to leverage the oligarchy and institute mafia control of the country. They then worked with the Americans for decades to sell them space launches, military assistance, natural resources and purchase financial services. When the whims of American empire changed they started to poke at Russian sovereignty over and over with an aim to collapse the nation for profit.

          1. Instead of disbanding NATO when the SU fell, they expanded it into former Soviet states and entered them into mutual military purchasing agreements with the US.
          2. Funding separatist and terrorist groups throughout the Russian periphery to increase military pressure on Russia (Georgia, Chechnya, Iraq, Afghanistan)
          3. Used the CIA and other NGO groups in Ukraine to overthrow their government to one that is friendly to the US/EU and hostile Russia causing a civil war where Russian speaking people live in Ukraine and a decade of fighting.
          4. Russia didn’t invade out of nowhere, they were responding to ongoing fighting in Russian majority areas. Do I personally think the “SMO” was a good move? No, but do I understand it and think that Russia poses a structural threat to US/EU interests? Also no.
          5. They conducted a massive military build up in countries surrounding Russia.
          6. The US took all of the Russian money in US/EU banking institutions and kept it. If you are holding a huge percentage of someones capital/money hostage and they have no recourse to unfreeze their assets under your management, who controls who? Don’t you think that if the Russians had full control over the US government thru illicit means or “kompromat” on Donald Trump that the first course of action would be to unfreeze their assets? People in the US believe Putin was the puppeteer on his meetings with Trump but in reality this person (Putin) was going to their boss and asking for their money back and being told no. The Russian response was to state plainly that Donald Trump is not in control of the US and isn’t worth speaking to and that Americans are “agreement incapable” are these the words and actions of the person with an upper hand?
          7. The Anglo empire have wanted to break apart the Russian empire since the 19th century. It is a long term historic objective of US/UK imperial interests going back to the Crimean war and before. It was only interrupted by the challenge of an Imperial Germany. The US/UK empires want Russia to pay for the October Revolution in particular with full collapse and balkanization.
          8. The Anglo empire wants to split up Russia into its constituent republics and states and pit every one against each other for their profit. They want to sell weapons to the Tartars, they want to extract the natural resources at a discount.

Yeah, that tracks. I know you may simplify every group to a monolith because it makes debates easier but it’s just not so. These aren’t opinions that universally trigger everyone left of center. They’re a mix of real criticisms, wild exaggerations, conspiracy theories, and straight-up garbage.

The first two aren’t automatically ridiculous. Plenty of people on the left criticize US and European imperialism, NATO expansion, military intervention, and the arms industry. But saying the West is simply the “real axis of evil” or that NATO only exists to sell weapons is cartoonishly simplistic.

Saying Hamas and Hezbollah are heroes is garbage. You can support Palestinian rights, oppose Israeli abuses, and still recognize that murdering civilians, taking hostages, repressing opponents, and serving authoritarian religious movements isn’t heroic.

The China claim is also garbage. Criticizing Western imperialism doesn’t mean pretending China has no imperial ambitions or would somehow be a gentle, democratic world leader. That’s just swapping one form of empire worship for another.

Saying the US has oligarchic features is fair. Wealthy donors, corporations, lobbying, gerrymandering, the Senate, and the Electoral College all distort democracy. But saying voting has nothing to do with policy is obviously false. Elections change abortion laws, labor laws, health care, taxes, judges, and civil rights.

The claim that all white Americans are class enemies is racist nonsense wearing Marxist vocabulary. A white cashier or warehouse worker doesn’t own capital because they’re white. Racial privilege and economic exploitation can both exist at the same time.

“There is no difference between a white American and an Israeli” is also nonsense. Neither group is politically, racially, or morally uniform. An American nurse in Ohio isn’t the same as an armed West Bank settler, and an Israeli peace activist isn’t the same as Netanyahu.

The Trump point is partly true. Trump isn’t some alien force. Racism, corruption, authoritarianism, and nativism have deep roots in US history. But saying Russia had nothing to do with helping him is false. Russia interfered in the 2016 election. That doesn’t mean Russia invented Trump or secretly controlled every vote.

The last claim is mostly conspiracy theory. The US did meddle in post-Soviet Russia and supported disastrous economic policies under Yeltsin. But it didn’t install Putin as a mercenary and then decide to break Russia apart for profit. Putin has his own ideology, power base, ambitions, and responsibility for his actions.

So the reasonable parts are the criticisms of Western imperialism, NATO, oligarchy, and the idea that Trump reflects real American history. The garbage parts are the terrorist hero worship, China worship, racial essentialism, and the claim that every world event is secretly controlled by Washington.

They are the only ones resisting. You are doing nothing. They are heroes.

The China claim is also garbage. Criticizing Western imperialism doesn’t mean pretending China has no imperial ambitions or would somehow be a gentle, democratic world leader. That’s just swapping one form of empire worship for another.

Chinese imperial ambitions are different and not hell bent on global domination. Unlike Europe, China has been a global hegemon for thousands of years. Will they be perfect? No, will they be better and more willing to operate in a multipolar world than the west? I believe that

The claim that all white Americans are class enemies is racist nonsense wearing Marxist vocabulary. A white cashier or warehouse worker doesn’t own capital because they’re white. Racial privilege and economic exploitation can both exist at the same time.

Sorry the truth hurts, white devil. The white cashier in the US supports its empire and imperial systems. The white nurse is part of the settler class that seized native lands and refuses to return or even pay the people you stole it from the money you are legally required to in the treaties you signed. The US is a settler colonial disease and its citizens - white americans - are complicit in its crimes.

“There is no difference between a white American and an Israeli” is also nonsense. Neither group is politically, racially, or morally uniform. An American nurse in Ohio isn’t the same as an armed West Bank settler, and an Israeli peace activist isn’t the same as Netanyahu.

Netanyahu is literally a fucking American. There are no Israeli “peace” activists. If they were a peace activist they would leave Israel. Israel, like the US, has no right to exist. Like Rhodesia, they must be dismantled.

Using the language of the CIA to discount historical facts then misrepresented what I said. I never said the US installed Putin I said they installed Yeltsin, and in another comment I said he came up through the FSB and leveraged his connections in Russia to come to power. He is a mercenary that works for the highest bidder.

The garbage parts are the terrorist hero worship, China worship, racial essentialism, and the claim that every world event is secretly controlled by Washington.

You are a propagandized imperial stooge of the empire you live for. You are the enemy of the free people of the world. It is not racial essentialism to state that White USAmericans are part of a specific petite bourgeois class of settlers. I didn’t claim all white people around the entire world are the same, it is specific to the white USAmericans. I also never made the claim that every world event is secretly controlled by Washington you just made that up because you are discussing in bad faith and from a position of perceived authority granted by your settler colony. I said a handful of specific events were orchestrated by the Empire administrated from Washington.

People where I live have opinions about things that when you write on Lemmy and Reddit get accused you of being a Russian bot or trying to influence never ending USAmerican elections as if they (USAmericans) live in a democracy and meme posts to a niche international community of open source software with around 40k active users matters.
