Community discovery is not the easiest, but some people have been setting up tools. You can just go to Communities->All if you want to browse ones other people have found, but if you’re looking for something more niche or something in particar then you can try the community browser someone set up at https://browse.feddit.de, or the one at https://lemmyverse.net/communities (probably the second one is better).
