Hey all. noob-ish pirate here. Skipping long winded post. I’m struggling to find sources to download/torrent kids cartoons. Some are easy, but I’m looking for paw patrol and it’s scarce on 1337. The more modern stuff and the super popular stuff are a little easier though. Not really any information on the Wiki about this stuff.

I see plenty of streaming resources. I guess if it comes down to it I can record it? I don’t know the best way to do that, certainly doesn’t seem ideal…

I’ll update my post to reflect my levels of success :)

OOOOO I don’t know why I haven’t tried this before! Guess I thought 1137 was an adequate search engine? This is seriously awesome, thanks for showing me.

No problem! When I was picking out which search engines or “plugins” to install, I visited most of the sites on the list and chose the ones I had heard of plus some other ones that looked like they were for English content. Some of the sites were clearly for other languages or for niches like anime, so just pick out whichever ones are relevant to your interests and then you’ll be able to search all of their databases instantly without dealing with their terrible websites and just get the magnet link.

I don’t torrent, just usenet. I added Paw Patrol into sonarr and have an ungodly amount of episodes of that show. The only kids show i’ve ran in to issues getting personally was some newish winnie the pooh show, but a new season dropped recently and the backlog filled in basically overnight.

Edit - I’m missing one episode in season 5, fourteen in season 9, and twenty five from season 10. Not really sure why i’m missing so many from the more recent seasons, but with 101.9GiBs of Paw Patrol none of the parents I share my media with care when they can hit shuffle, and their four year olds definitely don’t give a fuck about which episode just dropped. Although I’m probably going to hyperfixate on this now and not sleep until i’ve grabbed everything that’s missing so thanks for that lol.

LMAO It’s better left alone but you can’t help but need to make sure it’s complete. I’m the same about my music, if anything is improperly tagged or named inconsistent I fix it- it’s compulsory I swear.

I think the ones you are missing are just not pirated somehow, no idea why. I have those same episodes missing and I don’t even get them in English. At least the ones from Season 09 I remember, not sure I got similar missing ones in Season 10. Always thought its because they are not out yet in our language but sounds like they are just not available.

Snowfl has some pretty good results (note the addition of the keyword complete). But you can do a lot better than Paw Patrol! “Bluey”, “The Owl House”, “Hilda”, and “Kipo and the age of the Wonderbeasts” are all far better choices for kids and your own sanity ;-)

Parents know those other shows are better, but I am more likely to be asked to put on Paw Patrol than Bluey and my toddler doesn’t ever ask for Hilda. Kids have their own tastes, and it is impossible to shield them from everything you don’t want them to watch. Thankfully, everyone I know agrees Cocomelon is harmful garbage and off limits, so I’ve been able to avoid that completely.

Heh. We’ve convinced our kids that Paw Patrol and Cocomelon “don’t work on our TV”. All I had to do was let her select it a few times and then kill the network connection when she wasn’t looking. After that, we marked them as “disliked” in Netflix and now they never appear.

It may not last, but I’m doing what I can :-)

His grandparents let him watch whatever is on nick jr or Disney jr, so he already has paw patrol shoes, toys, and books. I figure it’s a losing battle at this point. I should let him have fun. Paw Patrol isn’t the worst thing in the world for him and if he’s happy I am happy.

I haven’t been so lucky. Grandma gave our first child both a phone and a tablet before she was 2 (against our wishes) and lets her have full unsupervised access to whatever she wants to watch. My wife now is a stay at home mom to keep Grandma’s influence limited (she also plays fast and loose with regards to safety)

But back on topic, we usually ask the kids what they want to watch, and if we feel they’ve been watching too much trash television we’ll say “let’s watch something on PBS Kids” and let them pick something on PBS to watch (because that’s our go to for higher quality kids content) so about 70% of their screen time is on high quality content and the other 30% is their choice.

Love Bluey and especially Hilda! I’ll check the other’s out, thank you. Definitely ideal if I can wean them off of the more annoying kids shows… The little man is into Spider-Man and Sonic right now, and the littler ma’am LOVES Frozen and Skye from Paw Patrol.

They’re both toddlers, about a year apart. The littler one is still into the younger target audience content and she is very picky! Thank you for the suggestion <3

The words we let her mispronounce because it’s so cute is balloon (Babloon!) and Restaurant (Resternot!!)

Media is better indexed on Rarbg (which doesnt exist anymore, but the biggest copy is TheRarbg which works similarly)

Does TheRarbg have the same aggregate of content that Rarbg did, or is it a migration sort of deal? Thank you for sharing.

Hey hey, great suggestion. I do actually have stremio + torrentio + real debrid set up, works really well! Thing is, I’ve been getting some errors with Real Debrid on Paramount+ kids shows. Seems like they’re cracking down on those torrents or something? Anyway those I’ve just been downloading manually instead, but it’s made me want to download more stuff just in case the streaming setup becomes less consistent :p

It’s more likely that the streaming setup is having the same problem as you - it can’t find a stream. It checks a load of torrents at once, but if there’s no torrent for what you’re looking for, it’s not going to find them either.

Well the torrents are there, I just can’t access them, gives me some weird screen. And if I manually convert the torrent to a download link through real debrid, it says it’s not allowed to do that or something. But torrenting it myself works fine.

Tubi has a few gems: Sarah & Duck, Mofy, and Hooray for Huckle. These can be downloaded for offline use (ad-free) using the command line software called yt-dlp. This software has the ability to load your cookies from your web browser, so it may work for some login sites, for example if you just pay for one month.

You can find some stuff searching btdig.com.

On streaming sites (Fmoviesz), some mirrors have a download button. You can also use the Video Downloadhelper plugin for Firefox.

I have been intercepting the .m3u download requests in the pages like a corsair in order to download the videos with ffmpeg. And let me tell you that it’s a PITA with how many anti-debug features these streaming sites include.

I’ll try this addon and see if it can end my misery.

Have you tried getting into any private trackers?

Older stuff is much more likely to survive on those. And it’s easier to find complete packs of the entire show, or at least entire seasons. Rathan than needing to download each episode individually.

Second that, I just checked my private tracker for paw patrol and there’s 57 seeders on a complete series torrent, 279 on the 2021 movie, and 650 on the 2023 movie. I’ve never seen any of them, so I can’t comment on that aspect, but private trackers are the way to go. Id rather give up torrenting if I lost access than go back to public trackers.

I like using Jackett as a search engine across a ton of sites. I can usually always find what I’m looking for.
