I find there’s just too much anger on the main NZ sub these days. There are always going to be different opinions, but no one seems to be able to tolerate opposing viewpoints any more. I used to post quite regularly there, but these days I usually don’t bother since I know someone will come in and tell me I’m an idiot/asshole/whatever.
To be fair, it’s probably just a reflection of society as a whole…
It’s always a shitshow whenever politics is a topic of discussion, mostly because of how left the sub leans. Anyone right of centre just gets piled on.
