Welcome to today’s daily kōrero!

It doesn’t have to be me making the thread, first in first served. If you are here on a day and there’s no daily thread, feel free to create it!

Anyway, it’s just a chance to talk about your day, what you have planned, what you have done, etc.

So how’s it going?

The cat just puked up… but directly into her food bowl… easy clean up for once!

Day off! Housework is done, the sun is out, and I’m too paralysed by options to actually choose something to do. Mess around on the internet it is, at least until it’s time to start banging around in the kitchen.

Lucky you! Go for a walk, take in the sun, because it’s the shortest day of the year so it won’t be there for long.

There was an emergency dash to the nearest supermarket when it turned out that actually, I don’t have a well-stocked kitchen and was right out of… well, stock. Sunshine has been absorbed, stock has been obtained and I accidentally got some crispy chicken on rice for lunch, oops.

In my quest to embrace Old Ladydom I’m planning to read a book and nap this afternoon.

If that’s what Old Ladydom is like then I think I’d like to try it.

I genuinely regret not taking Te Huia. I could have been chilling and enjoying coffee instead of being stuck in my car.

I highly recommend working from home. Can’t beat the commute.

I live in Whitiora and work in Frankton so most days I can walk or cycle to work. Today just happened to be the first day in months i had to go to Auckland. Very big case of being in the wrong place at the wrong time.
