Everyone says they want RMA reform, but the reason why it hasn’t happened (even though it’s been on the agenda for at least a decade) is that everyone has very different ideas about what that reform should be.

Some want it to make it easier for construction, others want better environmental protection. For the most part, these are diametrically opposed.
