They could’ve gone with the “Ugh, I’m bored with whatever this event is (where am I, again? Sweden? Sri Lanka? Same thing, really.)”, but knew that kind of photo doesn’t bleed, so they went with, “THE GERBILS AND MICE ARE EATING THE BOSNIANS! THE SAVAGE DEMOCRATS ARE MAKING THE GERBILS AND MICE EAT THE GODDAMNED BOSNIANS!” instead, because if it bleeds, it leads.

He never looks just normal.
Pictures of him smiling are the worst. He looks like it physically hurts him and his false teeth are so comically white it looks like an AI picture.
Like someone who knows what smiling is, but doesn’t know how to do it.

IMHO, both of those photos aren’t the most flattering.
But getting an unflattering photo of Trump is way easier. He’s an 80 year old with face paint.
