Four killed and six others injured in weekend crashes

A teen killed in a Christchurch crash has been named, and emergency services have been responding to crashes in Ohakune, Abel Tasman National Park and Lake Ohia in Northland.

We’re officially at a road death rate of one a day so far this year. Stay safe, don’t speed, be sober, belt up, and throw your phone in the boot.

    NZ consistently has the worst drivers I’ve ever had the horror of driving with. Purposely speeding up on passing places. Driving erratically. Levels of entitlement over 9000.

    No respect for other road users and a mentality similar to housing. “I’ve got mine so screw the rest of you”

    Surprised the death toll isn’t far higher.
