Yep, by subbing the same way as all the others.
On jerboa, in the communities tab->paste in the full url to get the magazine in scope-> reload the tab & search for the mag-> go to it-> subscribe.

This is the instance, lemmy.nz which I think of it as concerning the kiwi perspective. Contained within is the community c/newzealand. I think of that as the Aotearoa topic within the kiwi perspective.
As such, I would consider such a post to be suitable for lemmy.nz, as it is to be discussed in our context, but not c/newzealand since it is not about Aotearoa.

Hmm, I think you’re right. This page unequivocally identifies them as crown entities, autonomous yet TEC-funded. I think it was the autonomy that threw me off.

Did the universities use to be publicly owned? Perhaps a Te Pūkenga-style arrangement might do the trick.
Granted we haven’t really seen yet how that arrangement goes, and so far it’s not looking promising…
It’s not a 100% indicator, but I checked the URL and it said nbcmiami; Miami’s in Florida USA so that’s where I figured the county would be located
