Big fan of SBC gaming, open source engine recreations/source ports, gaming in general, alternative operating systems, and all things modding.
Trying to post and comment often in an effort to add to Lemmy’s growth.
Definitely annoying if you like to journal that kind of stuff. I’ve thought about putting a notebook next to my bed
Mind linking it? I went there recently and didn’t see any air filters.
I guess that’s something I should be more forward with. I don’t really know what I am trying to filter out. I feel like my apartment can feel stuffy at times and agitate my sinuses but that may have to do with my AC unit pumping largely unfiltered air from the a busy downtown area into my unit
Thanks for the link. Very neat
Did it melt or something?
The lack of interest in it even amongst tech communities and bridges (they can link Matrix servers and Discord servers) constantly being down has kept me from giving Matrix a second chance.
I think it was a Linux gaming community last time that got flooded with hate content after the bridge went down and the Matrix side was left to itself.
If I’m in the room there’s a strong chance a computer is on. I don’t use my phone a lot at home so most of my entertainment and time is spent on it
As in the continuous United States 🦅🦅🦅
What a great word in today’s dating scene. Is it an older word that has been modified to be more modern?
You know that episode of Seinfeld where someone eats a candy bar with a knife and fork and it just spreads into the wild because people don’t really question it?
That’s what I’m hoping happens with overmorrow
That list is going to send me down a rabbit hole looking for the etymology of words
Not commonly but every so often YouTubers I watch will start using it and it sticks for a prolonged period of time.
It was just the first thing that came to mind. I imagine there are other equally silly internet words out there.
I actually dislike that term a lot.
It’s like spunkgargleweewee. It seems immature and makes me feel more dismissive towards the argument. Maybe that also has to do with it being a catch all term and people seem less willing to give specific examples of how things are declining in quality.
I’m considering getting one for surfing the web on a secondary monitor. Nothing important is occurring but I asked this question for two reasons.
Plenty of people put some level of work into making their PC’s OS more secure using YouTube tutorials and tips but they may not think to update their BIOS for example
Do most motherboards receive long term support updates? I feel like I’ve only ever gotten a few updates for the ones I’ve used but maybe that was because I was buying older boards.
Good to know. I’ll have to look into it further
Unfortunate. It’s available as a RetroArch core isn’t it? I wonder how that will effect things
I think they’re aware of your stash of full Family Guy episodes on Youtube featuring random zooms.
Also doesn’t the RIAA only cover the music industry?
I don’t think that supports desktop games beyond source ports like Quake and Diablo though
I feel like that’s a lot of boiler plate stuff. It reminds me of Tom Scott’s video on VPN sponsorships not admitting they can be used as tools for piracy
