They didn’t pay us enough to make us stop calling it slop. If they make sure that every human being on the planet gets to live their entire life not being required to work at all while still getting to enjoy all the nice things (that do not harm others) the people in question want to enjoy… then and only then will Microslop have paid enough.
Let’s hope that this feeling of deep rejection comes soon and drives people to alternatives like LibreOffice or OpenOffice. People don’t have to immediately abandon all of microslop if they really don’t want to (yet), any small step is a win!
I’m definitely spreading the propaganda among some unhappy co-workers. Managed to get one to switch already and he’s not unhappy with his choice even if he needs more time to properly get used to the different UI.

Me finding out Canta and Shizuku are a thing has been a massive game changer for me because it allowed me to get rid of Gemini (as well as a lot of other bloatware) on my phone. I really wonder how long that keeps being possible…

And here the company I’m working at stopped handing out company cards because people just never made sure to get receipts/invoices for things paid with those. You really can’t win this particular battle as company I feel.
Yes, I’m fully aware that companies behave like blood-sucking pos things the majority of the time. Yet as someone who works in accounting it’s just so incredibly hard to make people acknowledge that getting proper invoices is important. And even if they do sort of get it, give it a week and plenty forget it again…
You can try and see how you can equip your babies with poison pills. That way if they get stolen and mangled into this AI garbage, they’ll keep working to drag that whole shitpile down. They can be fighters for justice.
