If making the donation will materially affect you, PLEASE DON’T DONATE! Lemmy.nz is not going to die if you don’t donate. Please only donate if you have plenty of money, but if you can donate on a regular basis without it materially affecting you, then please consider a regular donation.
Also, it’s only a “donation” in the loosest form of the word. It’s not a tax deductible donation as we aren’t registered as a charity or approved donee organisation. It is simply a contribution to the costs of running LemmyNZ.
Keep up the good work @dave@lemmy.nz. I can’t donate further to lemmy than running my own instance, and in fact I’m having to rationalize some of my IT/domain (just about to drop a couple of domains*) spend.

I don’t need any more domains I don’t use, I’ve done a massive cull the last few years and I think I’m down to only one I’m not using at all 😅
