He really captures the vapid, ho-hum, space cadet, business-as-usual, “this is fine” look in his eyes.

Pepper-spraying people isn’t an “of course” event. It’s an off-course event. This part of the world is broken — and anyone who takes blithe satisfaction and daily pay from it is a broken person.

It is, I don’t know how he stayed calm enough to get that focus on the eyes of his attacker.

      And yet…

      I can’t not say it …

“Eh, looks like the fascist coward pretty much couldn’t miss, with the way that spray spreads out over his victim. A mediocre shot at best.”

If books still exist in the future, this’ll be in the historic photos from this era.

This is the kind of photo that does damage to their reputation.

Pictures are powerful, and this one is very much so.

The splashes of toxic chemicals look almost exactly like a bunch of embers. Kinda fitting, considering the horrible effect they have

This would make a great target picture. For you know, practice. BB gun, blow darts, sling shot…

I wonder how cheaply and effectively you could make a high powered fan rig/battery backpack thing that would move air fast enough to change the direction of this spray

        Well shit. Tru

Here I am over-engineering the revolution, when we already have airzooka.

This is actually the play I think. You know how ridiculous it would look to flee from a battalion of airzooka-men? Not only that, but it’s be iffy to have just a few of these, but a couple hundred?

Peaceful, unarmed, polite compliance 100% gets you shot. If you’re going to do something, bring something that matches what you’re up against.

In America a lot of us are given firearms before middle school, unfortunately not all of us have responsible adults teaching us they’re not toys or fashion accessories. We allow ourselves access to lethal tools but teach no responsibility and give the worst ones a badge to shield them from any consequences of their recklessness and bloodthirst.

I say we start a GoFundMe…bribe someone to install the nozzles on backwards. Add some glitter in the mix as well.

I agree it needs to be powerful, but this is like the comments people make about electric cars being weak. Battery powered is the most effective option for a high powered device, at least one that needs to ramp up quickly. One of the best things about electric motors is how much torque they can provide, and at a moment’s notice. Sure, it might be heavy if you want it to last long, but it’s easily possible.
