    Who the fuck celebrates Friedman?

    His ideas aren’t great and were used to justify the absolute disaster which is modern unregulated capitalism.

    Like, his shit took off in the 80s under Reagan, who honestly thinks things have gotten better since the 80s except the few people that gained insane amounts of wealth in that time?

      Pretty sure I missed out on a job several years ago because the guy interviewing me was a Friedman blow hard.

      He found out I have an econ degree and asked me who I follow. I said people like Paul Krugman, and he was like “Oh you’re one of those. I’m more of a Friedman guy.” The interview changed after that. No follow-up or offer.

      Edit: That guy got laid off last month along with the position I had applied for. So sad…
