I believe that would require a two thirds vote. And the Dems will not cooperate. Tough luck, Marge

If she was smart, she would have come to that conclusion herself. Which leaves one conclusion about herself…

She’s getting what she wants from it though. Clicks and views. It’s all about posturing. It’s just virtue signaling with garbage for virtues.

The media has a lot to answer for. She’s not a serious person, but they keep showering her with coverage.

It’s similar to how they elect Trump.

The media has some responsibility for sure but ultimately it’s consumers that dictate what the media broadcasts. If people didn’t watch, they’d cover someone/something else. All media, npr included, needs an audience, and covering shitbags gets clicks and views. Journalism isn’t what it used to be. The standard isn’t telling truth or fact, it’s selling ads and making the broadcasters money. This is just another feature of the free market.

I don’t disagree, but I think the media, who continually demand our respect, should be held to a higher standard.

And I’m not entirely convinced the consumer is the driving demand for this . The media create the demand.

She pronounced “cabal” as “cable,” when she self-shot a Qanon video. It ended up in that documentary on HBO. She’s dumber than bricks.

I learned a lot of words from reading, so I didn’t know how to pronounce them until I heard them in context. She’s a moron, but not because of that.

Part of me is worried about all these resignations, what do these people know inside the party about what’s coming? Everyone is focused on them running away but no one is asking what are they running from?

Really? It’s not some big secret. Republicans are battling extremists in their party because they spent decades placating extremism. And now that they can no longer contain the monster they made, they’re bailing. They never planned to actually fix anything anyways, so they got theirs and now they’re going home. It’s standard Republican stuff.

Another article stating that they are leaving because they get good consulting gigs. Basically they were always into it for the money/influence and follow that wherever it goes.

Why should Johnson do anything that Greene wants when she’s trying to knock him out of his job?

Granted, I’d like to see him go, but Greene is a much bigger turd.

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) called on Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) on Sunday to push for Rep. Mike Gallagher’s (R-Wis.) expulsion from Congress ahead of his scheduled departure next month to allow his district time to select a new representative.

Oh, you mean the guy you moved against a week or two ago?

I thought they were calling her a Gallagher. Like that old comedian with a hammer. I was thinking it kinda fits. Oh, well.
